We have a wide range of activities going on here at Clarendon Manor. Here are just some of the free activities that you can join in with:

External Entertainers

We also frequently arrange for outside entertainers to visit the home to either put on a show, provide interactive professional entertainment or provide one-to-one care. These are also free for everyone to enjoy. Here are some of the experts we welcome to our home:-

✦ Age Concern - Provide a weekly armchair exercise class

✦ Church Personnel - Providing holy communion, prayers & religious service

✦ Pets Therapy - Bringing friendly pets to aid physical & mental well-being

✦ Various Singers & Musicians - Provide musical entertainment

Visiting Professional Services

We also regularly arrange for outside professionals to provide health & beauty care for our residents as they are usually specialists in what they do. Here are some of the services that we organise:

✦ Chiropodist - Providing foot & nail-care treatments (fees apply)

✦ Dentist - Providing dental hygiene (fees may apply)

✦ Hairdressing - Providing pampering & all hair treatments (fees apply)

✦ Opticians - Providing sight & hearing tests and optical services (fees may apply)

Keeping family involved in your activities

There is a weekly activities board and a noticeboard within the home which is always kept up to date with future events and activities that we have planned for our residents. The variety of activities and social occasions offered are as a result of what the residents have requested. These are usually decided in our monthly resident meetings and/or suggestions made by staff, family or friends visiting the home.
